1. Introduction: A New Chapter in Safaee’s Journey

In September 2025, Persian melodic hip-hop artist Safaee will release his long awaited EP ASH. This project represents far more than a traditional album it is an experience built around sound, visuals, and even scent. From concept to production, ASH was designed to immerse listeners in a story that blends music with sensory elements rarely explored in hip-hop.
The title itself carries meaning: “ASH” is both a symbol of what is left after destruction and the starting point for transformation.
2. A Concept That Goes Beyond Music
What makes ASH unique is its three defining features:
- Sound – seven tracks that combine melodic trap, hip-hop, and emotional storytelling.
- Visuals – artwork, design, and illustrations that bring the narrative to life.
- Scent – a signature fragrance, Noir d’Orient by Evody Parfums, carefully chosen by Safaee to give the album a sensory identity.
The story behind the album is universal: it follows a character without a defined gender, making it possible for both male and female listeners to relate. This character endured six painful years marked by betrayal from close friends and a partner. Burned by these experiences, they turned to ash dismissed by others as defeated. Yet from that ash, they emerged stronger, refined like a diamond. The album tells the journey from fire to ashes, and finally to brilliance.
3. Limited Editions and Spotify Premium Access
To honor his supporters, Safaee prepared 500 exclusive editions of ASH as gifts:
- 300 physical copies, distributed in Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan, and Bushehr. Each package contains a CD and a specially designed booklet.
- 200 digital editions, distributed online through Safaee’s official channels.
Every edition physical or digital includes a free Spotify Premium account for the recipient. Importantly, no money will be collected for these editions. As Safaee himself emphasizes, this release is a gift to his audience, not a commercial product.
4. Production, Costs, and Team Effort
The making of ASH required a significant investment around $2,900 in total. Yet many collaborators waived or reduced their fees, motivated by their belief in Safaee’s vision. Costs covered travel, recording, raw materials like blank CDs, printing, and even the creation of the fragrance element.

The EP contains seven tracks: the opening Intro and closing Outro are instrumental, bookending the five lyrical songs that each tell a piece of the story. Musically, the album blends melodic trap and hip-hop, creating an emotional landscape that matches the narrative.
More than just a release, ASH is an experiment in how music can connect with listeners on multiple levels sound, sight, and scent. For Safaee, this project is not simply about songs, but about resilience, transformation, and creating a shared experience for his supporters.
Official Announcement on Telegram
On August 2025, Safaee shared an official announcement with his audience through his Telegram channel. The message confirmed the release window for the upcoming EP ASH (September 11–20, 2025) and introduced a unique way of connecting with fans through exclusive gifts.
The announcement stated that 500 editions of the album were being prepared:
- 300 physical packs, to be distributed in Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan, and Bushehr. Each physical edition includes a CD and a specially designed booklet.
- 200 digital packs, distributed directly through Safaee’s Telegram and Instagram channels.
Every edition also comes with a free Spotify Premium account. Each physical pack carries a unique license code (different for each city), which fans can activate by contacting the support ID provided in the Telegram channel.
The message also highlighted Safaee’s commitment to his listeners: anyone actively engaging on Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud, or Spotify (through likes, shares, feedback, or reposts) would receive an additional free month of Spotify Premium as a token of appreciation.
In his words, the initiative was not about commercial gain, but about ensuring that fans experience the music at its highest quality through official platforms not illegal downloads.
