We are committed to accuracy and transparency. When errors occur, we correct them promptly and make those corrections visible to readers.
What qualifies for a correction
- Factual errors — dates, titles, credits (writers/producers/featured), links, artwork attributions, event details.
- Metadata mistakes — ISRC/UPC, release type (single/EP/album), track order.
- Misquotes or mislabels — incorrect names, roles, or translations.
- Broken or misleading elements — wrong embeds, invalid links, mislabeled images.
Minor typos that do not change meaning are silently fixed. Substantive issues get a visible note (see below).
How we correct
- Verify the issue using primary sources (masters, splits, contracts, distributor dashboards) or reputable platforms.
- Fix the content and, where material, add a Correction/Update note.
- Timestamp the change with “Updated: YYYY-MM-DD” and summarize what changed.
Correction note format (example)
Updated: 2025-09-02 — Correction: Producer credit updated from “—” to Prodbyasli. Spotify link replaced with the correct track URL.
Retractions & removals
If a post is substantially inaccurate, legally problematic, or based on unreliable sourcing, we may retract it. A replacement page or the original URL will display a short retraction notice explaining why the content was removed.
Versioning
For significant updates (e.g., new facts, major edits), we keep a brief change log at the bottom of the page or in a pinned comment block. Historical posts aren’t silently rewritten.
Response times
- Acknowledge within 2 business days.
- Resolve straightforward issues within 3–5 business days.
- Complex rights/credit disputes may require 10–15 business days.
(For how to submit requests, see Actionable Feedback Policy.)
Legal requests vs. corrections
DMCA or legal takedown requests follow our Terms of Service and applicable law. Corrections are editorial and handled under this policy.
Third-party embeds & platforms
If the error is on a third-party platform (e.g., Spotify/YouTube listing), we’ll request a fix there and note the discrepancy on our page until it propagates.
Accessibility & media fixes
Missing alt text, captions/lyrics, or non-descriptive links are corrected as soon as they’re reported. Replaced media (covers/embeds) will be noted if it changes the context.
Contact
To report an error, please use the official contact form and select Feedback/Correction. Include the page URL, the exact passage, and supporting evidence (links/screenshots).
